Hello Darkness My Old Friend.

hello darkness my old friend.

Alex and jon pulling their canoe over some marsh grass. In Killarney this summer, we took Kirk's Creek as a short cut to avoid a three kilometer portage. It was possibly one of the roughest two kilometers / five hours of my life.

We're used to interior canoeing, and we've done some pretty rough trips, but this felt like something straight out of The Heart Of Darkness.

On the map it's marked off as a non-navigable creek, and comes with some type of warning, but we thought we'd take it anyways. lessons learned.

In a field outside of town, we could always be alone.

I took this while I was laying in the grass in Killarney this summer. We were climbing Silver Peak, and stopped to rest on one of the mini-ridges along the way.

More cliffs of the PEI shore. I know the greyscale kills the gorgeous reds of the stone, but I quite like the look of the BW's so far. Maybe I'll repost some colors.

Halloween!

religon

A shot I took for the artsineer contest, Halloween themed! Ryan, my room mate and I carved this one, it's of a BOAT racing glass crossed by two tools (pipe wrenches) and finally encircled with and iron ring. hope you like!

taken with Angelo's 50-135F2.8, gorgeous lens.

hum-wha?

I live on a hill, and it's pretty humdrum. I also take pictures.
